Look, we said this site isn’t “gamery” — but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t secretly love an absolutely maxed-out RGB battlestation. The RGB Command Centre is the setup equivalent of a V8 Commodore with a massive subwoofer: completely over the top and deeply impressive.

The Samsung Odyssey G7 32” takes centre stage — literally. This curved 1440p 240Hz beast is one of the best gaming monitors you can buy, with a QLED VA panel that delivers deep blacks and vibrant colours. The 1000R curve wraps around your field of vision in a way that flat monitors simply can’t match.

Flanking it are two AOC 24G2SP panels for your secondary needs — Discord on one side, Spotify and system monitoring on the other. Yes, three monitors is excessive. No, we don’t care. A triple monitor arm keeps the desk surface clear and lets you angle everything perfectly.

The Corsair K70 RGB PRO is the keyboard of choice because if you’re going full RGB, you might as well go Corsair and get everything synced through iCUE. Cherry MX Reds for that smooth, linear feel during gaming, and the per-key RGB is genuinely beautiful when you’ve got a custom profile running.

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 is the mouse for competitive gaming — at 60 grams, it basically floats across the mousepad. The HERO 2 sensor is stupidly accurate, and the battery lasts nearly 100 hours. It’s the mouse that pros actually use, not just endorse.

Behind everything, Govee RGBIC LED strips line the back of the desk and monitors, casting a reactive ambient glow across the wall. Set them to music-reactive mode during gaming sessions and the whole room comes alive.

The Secretlab Titan Evo handles seating because gaming chairs that are actually comfortable are rarer than you’d think, and this one genuinely is. The lumbar support adjusts internally, and the cold-cure foam doesn’t flatten out after six months.

Total estimated cost: ~$5,000 AUD — it’s a lot, but you’ll be the envy of every Discord server you’re in.
