G'day! We're DeskAddiction — an Australian site dedicated to desk setups, gear reviews, and helping you build a workspace that doesn't make you want to go back to bed.

We started this site because we were tired of wading through generic "top 10" listicles written by people who clearly hadn't used the products they were recommending. Every review on DeskAddiction is honest, opinionated, and written with Australian buyers in mind — that means AUD prices, local availability, and no recommendations for gear you can't actually get here without paying absurd shipping.

What We Do

We do three things:

  • Curate desk setups — We find and feature inspiring desk setups from Reddit, Instagram, and our community. Each setup includes a full product breakdown with links and prices, so you can recreate what you love.
  • Review gear — Honest, detailed reviews of the products that make up a great desk setup. Monitors, keyboards, mice, desks, chairs, lighting — if it sits on or around your desk, we've probably got an opinion on it.
  • Write guides — Practical, no-fluff guides for building and improving your workspace. From beginner starter guides to deep-dive comparisons.

Our Philosophy

We believe your desk setup should work for you. That means we don't push a single aesthetic or price point. A $500 budget setup that makes someone happy is just as valid as a $5,000 battlestation. We feature both because inspiration doesn't have a price tag.

We also believe in being upfront about our recommendations. If something's brilliant, we'll tell you why. If something's rubbish, we'll tell you that too. No product gets a positive review just because it has a higher commission rate.
