The MagSpeed scroll wheel uses an electromagnetic mechanism that switches between precision ratchet mode and free-spinning mode. Flick it and it spins freely — scroll through a 200-row spreadsheet in a second. Need precision? It automatically engages ratchet mode for line-by-line scrolling. It’s actual sorcery.
Tracking on Anything
The Darkfield sensor tracks on glass. Not frosted glass, not special glass — regular transparent glass. This sounds like a gimmick until you’re at a cafe working on a glass table and your mouse just works. At 8000 DPI, precision is never an issue.
