Let’s be upfront: the Logitech ERGO K860 is not a keyboard you buy because it looks cool or sounds satisfying. You buy it because your wrists are staging a mutiny after years of flat keyboard abuse. And in that regard, it’s brilliant.

The Ergonomic Design

The split, curved layout positions your hands at a natural angle — roughly 14 degrees of splay — which reduces the internal rotation of your forearms. Pair that with the negative tilt option (tilting the back edge down instead of up, which is actually how keyboards should work) and the integrated wrist rest, and you’ve got a typing position that a physiotherapist would nod approvingly at.

The Adjustment Period

Nobody talks about this enough: switching to a split keyboard is rough for the first week. Your typing speed will drop. You’ll hit the wrong keys. You’ll question your purchase. This is completely normal. By week two, things start clicking (pun intended), and by week three, flat keyboards feel barbaric.
